B-Boots are a fully Australian owned and made product, made from materials
purchased in Australia. The Neoprene used is 5cm thick, and hard wearing. The
outer cover of the boots are made with marine quality vinyl, which is both pliable
and soft. Many other boots are made with a hard vinyl cover, which makes the
boot very stiff and, in turn, may cause the boot to rub the horse.
B-Boots are very flexible and soft without losing the ability to protect the
tendon from brushing and knocking.
The strike pad covering the tendon has extra padding with an additional piece of
Neoprene beneath the vinyl, so in fact the strike pad is 10mm thick, whilst the
rest of the boot is 5mm in thickness.
The boots are attached with 38mm Velcro fasteners, to ensure easy removal.
The Velcro is extremely tough and once fastened, will not come undone without
direct pulling. B-Boots are fully washable and easy to care for.
B-Boots also come in wool fleece lined. These boots are lined with 100% pure
wool. The preference is purely personal - lined or unlined these boots offer great
protection.
Although B-Boots are designed to be a protective work boot, they can and are
used for all types of equine activity. Many customers have bought B-Boots for
general working and trail riding, as well as for dressage, jumping and cross
country.
